I am the President of loaves And Fishes x10 a ministry dedicated to doing our part to help stomp out hunger in Orange County. We serve the community in two ways. 1.We collaborate with Food Banks to have community events. Our goal at our events is to supply enough groceries for a family to last a week. This will help them save money to use for other necessities. We are looking for more organizations that are willing be a part of our events. We are based in Orange County. Their are over 600,000 people or more that are at risk of going to bed hungry in the O.C. each month 2.Loaves And Fishes x10 is also a gleaning organization. We have opportunities to glean over 150 acres of Farm Lad. Food Pantries in Orange county will come under Loaves And Fishes and sign a waiver to be able to glean on Commercial Farm Land. Volunteers are sent out to glean fresh produce and then take it back to the Food Pantry they represent to be given to the community free. We are presently gleaning Dan Manassero Farm in Irvine and O.C produce on the Great park in Irvine also. We are always looking for volunteers that may want to help support the community.
