Alley Reviews Inc.

I have a question. I was wondering if anyone has heard of Alley Reviews inc. I am a catious person and I can see scams a mile ahead but this one is a bit trickier. I know there are legit companies out there that use people as mystery shoppers/restaurant reviewers. Because I know people who have done that and loved it. This company i am going through hasn't asked me for any money. Hasn't asked me for any personal information (ssn,etc..). so, so far so good. The emails are very professional. However I was told my first 2 reviews are a restaurant and then a money gram store. so that gave me a red flag. I am going to get a packet in the mail this week conisting of my weekly payment and money to cover me of all expenses. but I have learned of people with money gram scams where they ask them to wire money, etc. So i am completely cautious and aware of that, so if that is the case then I won't be a part of this at all. So if anyone has heard of this company and if it is legit or not please let me know. I have already emailed them letting them know that if this is a job that requires to transfer/wire any money then i will not be a part of this at all. thanks guys!

Hi Lynette,
I can't find hardly any information on this company aside from this question, which is a red flag for us. Most established companies have lots of information available online. You are correct in questioning the validity of any offer that asks you to wire money to some place. My first thought on this company is to stay away. I'm betting that the check you receive in the mail this week will be a fake, and you'll be stuck paying your bank back for the money you wired off to who knows where.

Hi,
I was researching this company as well and I have found no information. I just came across this. I was excited and thought this was legit. My husband warned me that he thought it was a possible scam and that people who do that send the wire then the check bounces and you are stuck paying the wire. It's not worth the $350 they give you. Plus I thought we would be reviewing restaurants, not a moneygram store. So no thank you. They also said that I needed to do the moneygram store first because of deadlines. Whatever!!
