Hi Louise, My name is David G. from US Tax Shield. Thank you for considering us for your tax resolution needs. US Tax Shield has only had 2 complaints, both of which were not from US Tax Shield clients. Both complaints came from non-clients who received direct mail pieces with tax information from public records which they felt they did not owe. These complaints did not arise from lack of performance, not holding up to an agreement, or not getting the best results possible. They were direct complaints to the BBB in regards to marketing mail. Although these were not service complaints, US Tax Shield addressed both issues immediately. These complaints are displayed on the BBB as 2 resolved complaints as "Agreeing to perform according to their contract", there was no contract and these were not clients. The BBB does not have a specific category for non-clients hence the categorization as "Agreeing to perform according to their contract". Please feel free to contact the BBB to verify the nature of these non-client complaints. Its a bit of a read but I hope my opinion helps you. Before my husband Jake and I started with US Tax shield, we spoke to 3 different people at there. They have different people with different fields of experience. The last person we spoke to who called the IRS on our behalf was the deciding factor. When we signed on with us tax, he gave me everyones duties on our case and everyones numbers and extensions. He said "we dont send people to voicemail" or "we dont believe in voicemail". He also said there would always be someone to speak with us and answer questions during business hours. So far, every call we have made has got us a live person. At times we even got carried away with called them a few times a day and sure enough got an answer. They have been straight forward with us. They never gave us an exact amount our deal would be but said that it will be based on our current circumstances. Lucky for us, we had a substantial reduction in what we owe and are now working on spreading the balance over a payment plan. All in all, they delivered what they said they would and always got us answers and solutions. Their customer service is excellent and they are a patient bunch to work with.

I had a very good experience using US Tax Shield to help me with my tax problems. They did all the work, they spoke with my revenue officer and were able to ease my stress during the process. Terri, my attorney, was great to deal with, she explained the steps she was taking along the way. She got me on a payment plan and filed the tax returns I was missing. Every member of the staff that I spoke with was professional and very proficient in their jobs. I strongly recommend US Tax Shield. Thank you US Tax!

I am very pleased with the work that US Tax Shield did for me and my husband. They went the extra mile for us and even helped us plan our future tax payments to avoid the mistakes we had made in the past. They helped us through a very difficult time, always making time to answer our questions and take away a lot of our fears. Everyone we spoke with at US Tax Shield was courteous and professional. I recommend you talk to this company if you are in need of their services, I'm sure you will be as satisfied as we are with them!
