Last night I checked out a business called artlo tile in Riverside Ca..it had an F rating and the licence was expired.I called my contractor to tell him and he called me later, saying it was A+.I did not dream this...is it possible that they could have updated the license and become A+ within a couple of hours..should I be worried about this? Thanks,Ethne

Ethne,

I wouldn't worry about it. It was more ironic if anything. BBB reports with licensing are linked up with Contractors State Licensed Board so if a license expires the BBB report will reflect this accordingly and since licensing for contracting services is a requirement in the state of California, a company will be given an F rating since they are unable to contract services until their license is active again. Once licensing is updated/renewed, the BBB report will update and rate the company accordingly.
