Hired more people, and we still can’t close tasks

I talked with some colleagues, and it seems like this is a common story. There’s enough people to work, but something’s missing. Maybe tasks are mismanaged or something else. But in the end, costs just go up on salaries and the hiring process, and there’s no real output.

What did I look at when hiring? Just adding people by number doesn’t solve the problem. You have specific tasks that need specialists at a certain level. If you hire 10 new people and none of them meet the requirements for the project, it’s useless.
