When my uncle moved into a nursing home, my biggest worry was whether staff would actually listen to him and keep us in the loop. He’s not the type to speak up when something is wrong, so I wanted to be sure he’d have people around who noticed his needs. We also hoped to stay involved as a family without being seen as a burden. Do you think this kind of balance really makes a big difference?
