Properly anchoring your Ground Covers prevents wind from lifting the fabric edges and keeps the material from shifting under foot traffic or heavy rainfall. Heavy-duty metal landscape staples, U-shaped pins, or plastic securing pegs should be driven straight through the Ground Covers into the dirt below. Space these securing stakes approximately two to three feet apart along all outer edges, seams, and corners where pieces overlap. Where two sheets of Ground Covers meet, overlap the edges by at least six inches before pinning both layers down together to prevent weeds from sneaking through the gaps.
