Virgil,

This company is new our system, so there are no closed complaint statistic but I would urge caution in doing business with this company. I don't know of any work at home offer that is legitimate.

Check out this info on scams. It explains the various ways they take not only your money but your identity too!

Thank you.

I decided to sign-up for their free info pack (after the special of dropping the regular $30 FEE). Their website (www.icmwebsites.com) bellies-up with "HTTP 404 not found" after logging. Thirdly, two weeks after signing up as described above, I received my credit card statement with a $30 and a $138 (if failing memory serves me correctly). I have just begun calling the 1-800 number but have never been able to get anyone because self error. Better days and posts to come!

Charles, did you file a complaint with the BBB? You can also file a complaint with the Internet Crime Complaint Center at http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx

Thank you.

Hello Charles, Hello Mari, I have a website with ICM, my initial fee was $2.97 just to access the site, then exactly three days later I saw an additional charge of $139. I called and had to set them straight, and give them a few pointers on deceptive advertising. Besides that, I received a call from someone a few weeks later after I signed-up, claiming that he was from the "marketing Department" his name is Zack, and he was suggesting that I could do a lot of business if I give them either $2,000. or more to help with the marketing of my site, when he realized I was not willing to 'bite' the call ended. But when I called ICM, they claimed that there was no one with that name working for them. Yea! sure, anyway I pay $4.97 a month for the site, I even alerted my bank that, that was the only money they were to be paid monthly. I do all my advertising myself. Truth is, I have never had a problem getting through to them on the phone or even the chat site on-line. My website is www.twoplusone.xyzwarehouse.com Mari, thanks for the link to Internet Crime Complaint Center, didn't even know something like that existed.

Well,Leann, you learned the first rule of dealing with these types. You are not speaking with whom you think. BTW, I was talking with Jared Sanders with just a "little" taste of New Delhi in his speech. That way they can do what they did to you. The end story on me is that I am sunk because the three days to cancel had passed. I said that I had not received my password to their site to which he said that it was e-mailed to me. I never got it and he said, prove it. Then, he asked why I didn't call the 1-800 number on the $2.95/ $30 access pamphlet (The special was to waive the usual $30 fee but guess what I got charged?). It came over a week from the sign up date and he said... He then asked me if I would like to try a three free month subscription to see if I liked it. With blood shooting out o my eyes I told him in a firm voice, "No thanks". Lesson learned. Be careful out there, campers.

I have had the same issue with ICM Websites - they promised to send me this kit for 2.97 and then charged me $140 - they use fake advertising (articles, testimonials) and fake logos (CNN, ABC, MSNBC) -- I've seen where some of the companies are suing because they are using their logos (Google). I would urge anyone who feels that they have been misled out of money by any of these types of companies to report it https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/ -- the Federal Trade Commission The FTC enters all complaints it receives into a secure online database that is used by thousands of civil and criminal law enforcement authorities worldwide. The FTC does not resolve individual consumer complaints, but I would report it - I did.

Don't sit back and accept this unless you just have money to give away. It's not fair the way people are being taken advantage of!
