There is a report out of BBB Southland on this company at http://www.la.bbb.org/businessreport.aspx?companyid=100073732
They appear to be in the loan modification business, D rating from the BBB, 5 complaints.
The BBB also says, "Of the complaints we have received against this company, in at least some cases, the complaint allegations are very serious. Complaints generally allege the company fails to provide loan modifications and difficulty obtaining refunds for the fees paid in advance. The company responds to a few complaints by issuing a refund, or by explaining the work they performed in regards to the loan modification."

but the BBB only has one complaint to veiw and it seems that the complaintent was unreasonable and it was clear up. I see that there are 5 complaints but what where they and I would think there would be more than just 5 complaints and what about the 4 people that rave about this company?

I have checked with BBB about the other 5 cases and by now they are also viewable on the BBB site. And if we really take a close look it seems that even the other 5 complaints were unreasonable and that the company took in actuality good care of its clients. I also called the department of corporations, the department of real estate and the consumer relations departments and not one of them had any complaints or negative remarks about this company. So I think that we can give them a chance and work with them.

besides that Chris here is my own experience with them:

This past few months were a real roller coaster ride with a happy end for me and my family. In September of last year I saw an ad from a loan modification company called fedmod that caught my eyes. The reason why was, cause my husband had lost his job in June of '08 and my income only covered 40 percent of our bills by then. So we started struggling, and by September he still had not found a new job. So as we started falling behind with bills and payments that ad from fedmod caught my eyes. We saw hope and help and contacted them to get a loan modification done ASAP. But all they did was take our hard earned money (they charge us $2,950.00) and never returned a call after that and didn’t do s@@t for us... We were so frustrated and scared to loose our home... Luckily I met with a friend of mine that is a paralegal on a Saturday morning in late December, just before Christmas to see if she knew how to help me so we can at least get our money back. Instead she told me first to get some real help so we don't loose our house and to then bother with our refund. At that moment I really didn’t know what to do... She then gave a number and said to call Aria & Associates in California, who helped her and another family member of hers to get a modification done successfully. So, this time I felt comfortable and secure to call this new loan modification company... I went home, and my husband showed me that we had received a foreclosure notice from our bank, since fedmod had done nothing for us. I was so in shock to loose my house. It was around 3pm on that Saturday, and I grabbed the phone trying to reach Aria & Associates. Luckily I got someone on the phone right away. Wow, I was positively surprised that they even work Saturdays. The agent helped me very thoroughly by answering all my questions and concerns. And they also had a 100% money back guarantee if they wouldn’t get the loan modification done. I then went and borrowed money from family members and paid Aria & Associates on the following Tuesday (they charged me $3,825.00, and it was a lot more than the other company, but since it was a referral from my friend I did not hesitate to pay- at the end you get what you pay for) to start my modification process by first stopping the foreclosure process. They were very helpful, have great, outstanding customer service and did what they promised. Right after we signed the contract, paid our fees and sent them any additional paperwork they had requested, an underwriter named Phoung N. called us and told us that she is in charge of our file from here on. She stopped the foreclosure process within a week, assuring us that we won’t loose the house. Then in mid-January she started the negotiations with Indy Mac. She completed our modifications a week ago. We signed our new modification contract on March, 16th and are not scared of loosing our home anymore, Thanks to Aria & Associates. They lowered our p

I have mixed feelings about them. I called at the end of April to see if they could help us with our mortgage, as I had been layed-off in March. They were very helpful...we did have to pay them a payment equal to our mortgage payment ($2072)Gave them all of the paperwork that they asked for. The process took FOREVER....they said that it was our mortgage company that was dragging it's feet....I don't know what happened. Either way we JUST got the results back from out loan modification. Submitted it in April, got an answer in August.....When they gave me the details of what the modification was going to be the only part that they got right was the payment. They said that the percentage rate would be lowered, it was good for 5 years, and several other things as well. It turned out to be a "trial" only. We have to make the payment for 3 months and then we will get what the modification will actually be. When I called my rep @ Aria back, he told me to fax the paperwork to him, he would give to underwriting, and they would submit it all to our mortgage company. I did that 2 weeks ago and have not heard a peep from them. Someone from underwriting was supposed to call me....nothing....have made several calls to my rep, and imagine that.....no return call from him either. I am now dealing directly with my mortgage company and would STRONGLY ADVISE anyone who is having mortgage issues to go that route. DO NOT USE Aria & Associates for any mortgage issues, they are a huge waste of time.

aria is a scam. We went through them for our mortgage payments to be lowered with the assurance that they could lower the payments or money back. here it is three months after we started our refund process and still no refund. we have called every week checking on it and the answer is always the same, it is in the mail.not only could they not deliver what they had promised, but they refuse to refund, or to return our calls. We wouldn't be going through them if we had money, so, holding onto our money is really hard to swollow when they told us to not make payments till the process was complete.

Scam. Do your business elsewhere. After speaking to several people including managers who assured us that our case was very promising and they only took the "best cases" we gave them $2500 to pursue reducing our mortgage. After 2 months I began asking questions as up to that point -my case was "progressing well". After 3 months I pursued harder and found out that in fact my case had not been looked after at all. The case handler had left and somebody else would be looking after it. I worked with this person for the next 2 weeks and they eventually told me that I was not a good candidate because I was current with my mortgage. Hmmmm...........Seems like something they would have known on day 1. Discouraging to say the least especially with the total lack of attention to my case. I then began a 2 month journey to try and get my money back. I eventually got $2300 back after more than a dozen phone calls and angry emails. I spoke to the "head person" Amin who assured me that I would be receiving my money in full. He failed on that promise on multiple occasions. I've continued to try and recoup the last $200 but without success. I would try somewhere else.

I think Kim H. works for Aria & Associates. It's been a year since I started the process with them. They finally told me in Nov that I didn't qualify because I hadn't started foreclosure yet. I'm STILL trying to get my money back. Can't even get someone on the phone. I'm not sure what BBB others are looking at but the one I see, that I filed with 2 weeks ago, has several cases and an F+ rating. Stay away from this company. They are a scam.

I agree I think Kim H. must work for Aria & Associates as well, we had been working with them since December 5, 2009. Charles Park indicated that he would be able to get our payment down to approx 3500.00 and have the lender reduce the principle, due to the drop in the home value in our area. Homes in our area are being sold for half the amount that we paid for them at the present time. One of our neighbors recently passed away and his home that was built 1 1/2 years ago sold for 565,000.00 - he paid one million thirty for it. Our case was passed on several times, they don't call you back they will occasionally respond to e-mails, but not completely answer your questions so you send back for another response and the communications stop. They got us for $3,000.00 and in March they told us that our mortgage did not qualify because the amount that we owed was over the amount that would qualify for any type of program. Our lender was not willing to help. Long story short, our home was auctioned 2 weeks ago, we have filed bankruptcy and we still have not received our money back. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM, THE ONLY GUARANTEE THAT THEY SHOULD STATE IS THAT THEY WILL ROBB YOU BLIND ONLY TO WATCH YOU DROWN LIKE A RATE ON A SINKING SHIP. !!!!!!!!!WE WANT OUR $3,000.00 BACK!!!!!!! YOU CROOKS.

NOT HOW YOU GIVE IT BUT IT COME BACK, I FEEL COMFORT IN KNOWING THAT THE GOD I SERVE IS GOOD ALL THE TIME. I DONT KNOW HOW MANY PEOPLE THEY HAVE DONE THIS TO HOWEVER IF WE ALL GET ON THE SAME PAGE AND PRAY ABOUT THIS I KNOW WE WILL BE LOOKING AT THE NEWS AND WILL HEAR THAT THE RING WITH ARIA & ASSOICATES WAS CAUGHT.

Aria and Associates is apparently "no more"!!! Their phone lines are dead, so it is impossible to reach them. I gave them $2500 to do a loan modification for me about 10 months ago. Much of what I read here in these blogs has been a similar experience to me. I want to know, what can we do about getting our money back?? I am a single woman on disability and certainly cannot afford to throw away $2500! If anyone has any ideas at all please please count me in. Write Kathy at kberncich@sbcglobal.net

I have contacted the California real estate dept:1-213-620-2072. They will send you a complent form. Also contact the Attorney General of California and fill out a complete form online. If enough consumers do this a class action suit may be filed. Good luck

Thanks Chris, I will do as you describe and anything else that you think might help! Every time I think of Aria And Associates, I get madder and madder. Fopr them to take advantage of already desperate people and steal their money ($2,500.00 from me), rob them of their time and emotions by giving them false hope, is just inconscionable! Anyone else out there who has been scammed by Aria, please please file these complaints too, so that we may have a voice on this. Lord knows, we paid enough for it! Kathy

The NJ ticket payment portal deserves applause. I had to settle a traffic violation, and the online platform made it incredibly easy. The ability to review details, understand the charges, and make payments seamlessly is commendable.
