I have also been considering the company. But I have many questions/concerns, so far few answers. In a world full of no's a little worried too eager to hire. Have you also received the hire pack? W-4 I9 etc?

After doing more research I can not even find the company listed on the California site of businesses. This job listing is beginning to look VERY suspect. I need a lot more information before I will send my information to them.

I am looking for some answers too. They just seem a bit eager to hire me, with not much information about me. The email said I was the perfect match to the job. The contract looks fine, the W-4, and I-9 forms were legal. Accept that the W-4 form is from 2009. And it's now 2010. I also noticed that some of their verbiage was kind-of broken in the emails that I have received from them, almost as if English isn't the HR Managers first language.
The language is usually the first thing that I notice in some of the Phishing Scams that I have uncovered. And over the past 2 months, I have uncovered more than 10 scammers. Also, the scammers are getting contact information thru resumes that people posted on-line, with their private contact information included in the resume. NEVER post your private contact info onto your resume, if you want potential employers to be able to search your resume, then omitt you contact information and your references information. Otherwise, you will be opening the door for a phishing scammer. Leave off you personal contact information. It makes them have to contact you through the job website first! Then they have to pay to contact you, and that leaves a paper trail for the FBI to follow (CC info, contact name, and contact info), if you get taken by a phisher.
I'm gonna give OneDigitalShop.com a shot and see if they are scammers. I will be back and let you all know. Besides, if a scammer takes me, he can't mess up my credit anymore that I already have. LOL

When I called their Santa Fe Springs Ca telephone number. I received a recording. I even tried to leave a message for HR Michael Tuttle and there is no one there by that name...hmmmmm

Note on the bbb website there is no reports on the company. Good or bad. The default grade of B means that they are not bad but definitely not good. They sell electronics but the question is to whom? Their prices are fair but the website is very basic and with no feedback who is to say that they are not taking orders then going to run with your information credit card info etc. I asked for the state that they llc ed in they did not respond. I believe that they are not real.....

Hello Everyone,
I would urge caution in providing any information that may disclose personal information about yourself until confirmation of hire has been established.
Forms such as the I 9 require you to provide proof of your ability to work in the US and also discloses your date of birth.
Although these forms are required once hired, it is not the "norm" to request such documents before employement has been offered and accepted.
I would urge you to contact the EDD to verify this type of request. Here's their link

I contacted a guy that was a police officer for over 30 plus years and worked on the fraud unit for a while and asked him to look into for me just to make sure we weren't passing up a opportunity. He got back with me and said the place is using a building that is an address for four other companies and neither is 'American Packers and Shipping' online or otherwise. They have never processed orders through there website or in any building as they listed. It turns out to be a check cashing scam as all the rest.

THIS IS A SCAM!! I have been working for them for a month and now I have not been paid. They have stopped all communication with me. My suggestion, If you want some free stuff start working for them... return the first couple packages (cameras) and then you'll start getting laptops lol...
DO NOT EXPECT TO BE PAID BY THIS COMPANY!! IT IS A SCAM!!!

THAT IS SO VERY TRUE, THEY ARE A SCAM COMPANY. I TRIED TO FIND SCAM INFO ON THEM BEFORE I STARTED BUT COULDN'T FIND ANYTHING UNTIL NOW. I DID MAIL ALL OF THERE PACKAGES EXCEPT A LAP TOP WHICH I AM GLAD THAT I KEPT AND I ALSO GOT A BRAND NEW PRINTER. I AM STILL PISSED BECAUSE I THOUGHT THEY WERE TRULY LEGIT. I HAVE BEEN UNEMPLOYED FOR OVER A YEAR AND I WAS DESPERATE. I JUST DID A REVERSE ON THE PHONE NUMBER HE LEFT ON MY ANSWERING MACHINE 562-217-4235 AND IT BELONGS TO A JOSHUA AND AMY DAVIS 280 STANFORD ST LA HABRA CA. IT WOULD BE NICE IF TALECIA OR ANYONE WITH CONNECTIONS WITH THE POLICE OR FRAUD DIVISION CAN CHECK THIS OUT. THE ANSWERING MACHINE SAIDS STEVEN HARTMAN BUT IT'S THE SAME EXACT NUMBER. THEY HAVE TO KNOW SOMETHING ABOUT IT IF THEY LIVE THERE. THE NUMBER IS CONNECTED TO THAT ADDRESS. I AM SO MAD RIGHT NOW. AND SO UPSET WITH MYSELF FOR GETTING DUPED. BUT THINGS HAVE BEEN REALLY HARD FOR ME LATELY. WELL AT LEAST THE ONLY THING I LOST WAS TIME. I WOULD HAVE NEVER SENT MONEY. BUT IF I HAD ONLY KNOW I WOULD HAVE KEPT MORE STUFF.
