I recently purchased a regional eSIM plan for an upcoming business trip to access cheap local mobile data upon arrival. The problem is that my secondary work phone lacks internal eSIM support, and my primary device is lock-carrier restricted. I need a way to activate the digital profile and process short verification SMS messages before landing without buying a brand new unlocked smartphone. Is there any trusted online service or cloud setup that lets you provision and operate an eSIM on a real remote phone for a few hours?

I faced that exact hassle a few months ago when managing travel profiles for remote contractors. Most cloud instances do not support cellular radios, so virtual environments will not work for SIM provisioning. I ended up using real android device instead of emulator https://droiddesk.io/ to rent remote access to a real device and it worked like a charm. You can easily provision your digital profile onto a physical Samsung phone located in your destination country and handle SMS verification codes. The short-term rental plans make it super affordable to complete setup tasks without buying new hardware.

That completely solves my problem! I was worried I would have to spend hundreds of dollars on a secondary unlocked handset just to activate a single digital plan. Renting a physical phone for a quick setup session is a much smarter and cheaper solution. I will jump on their platform tonight to get my connection configured and receive my carrier confirmation codes. Thanks a ton for giving me such a practical and cost-effective solution!
