Proper site preparation is essential for successful RPE Pond Liner installation. The pond area should first be excavated, graded, and compacted according to the project design. Rocks, roots, sharp objects, and debris should be removed from the lining surface to minimize the possibility of punctures. Where additional protection is necessary, a suitable geotextile underlay may be installed beneath the RPE membrane. The liner is then positioned carefully across the prepared surface, allowing sufficient material for seams, edges, and anchoring. Seams are joined using appropriate equipment and procedures suitable for the liner specification. The edges are secured using an anchor trench or another engineered method.
