The company is RCI Innovations Inc.
This is their address and phone#:
777 S. Flagler Drive, Suite 800
West Palm Beach, FL 33401
(561) 201-6420
These are the scum bags I am talking about. They call you as they have worked for another scum bag company called American Marketing Group that has a rating of F and have a suit filed by the St atty General as of Jan 2010, now they are out of business and the employees now work for RCI Innovations, call you up let you know that AMG is no longer in business however they can still close your timeshare and get your money back that you pd AMG, all you have to do is pay another $1278 as they have to pay an atty to draw up the purchase agreement. The $1278 and the prior money you pd AMG will all be pd back after closing. I asked if I could have the name of the person(s) that wanted to buy my timeshare, they can't do that till I pay the $1278. Yeah right, scum bag company. I may have been nieave the first time but believe me I won't get screwed the 2nd time.

Connie,

You did the right thing! This is a scam and unfortunately many people have fallen victim to their buyer and reloader scams.

There are hundred of scams circulating the industry today especially in light of the current state of the economy one of which is the classic "there's a buyers waiting for your timeshare" routine as more often than not, this phantom buyer doesn't exist and never materializes. Another common scam is timeshare listing scam where the company takes your money to simply list your timeshare a site for you. You can easily do this yourself without having to pay anyone upfront advertising fees when you can do it for free.
