I am going to keep this simple and to the point. 1)No LEGIT company who is hiring an employee is going to allow a prospective employee to pay for a background investigation during the the pre employment process. 2) I checked out the website for this company (www.ussafetyinc.net), and no products were displayed. I am a consumer just like the mass majority of Americans. If someone tried to sale me a product, I would ask for a website in order to get a better idea of what the seller is talking about. Based on the website, and lack of information, I wouldn't even give the sales person the time of day. The website's testimonials are about so called "management team members". A LEGIT company would have testimonials about products being sold, and not about who made it to management. 3)NFPA?? I might have missed something, but I didn't see US Safety inc's name under the member section of (www.nfpa.com/AboutNFPA/NFPA_Member_List.asp). Like I said, maybe I missed it. However, I seriously doubt I did. 4) No LEGIT company is going to hire a manager off the street with no experience. $4000+ a month with no experience? LOL. Multi Level Marketing companies like Pre **** L*g*l offer management positions after a sales quota, and MLMs will allow anyone into their organization just as long as they pay money to get in. 5)If a company was practically giving away $4000+ a month management positions like they claim they're doing, then they would be a profitable company, and would be able to find a better web designer for their site. A profitable company wouldn't ask prospective employees to pay for their own background investigations. 6)Why aren't the so-called multiple offices mentioned in their contacts page on their site? Companies who claim to have several offices, will have contact information for those offices, especially of that company is trying to turn a profit. 7) Fire Safety USA is NOT based out of Van Nuys, California. It's based out of Rochester, MN. I also did not see a link to (http://firesafetyusa.com) on the (Ussafetyinc.com) website. I do not understand why the BBB affiliates U.S. Safety with Fire Safety USA. I am not being a pessimist, but I do not want to see job seekers get discouraged by job postings that aren't honest. If something seems too good to be true, then it probably is. Shame on anyone who preys on folks who are looking for an honest job. People who mislead job seekers should be ashamed of themselves. If someone or an organizations wants to recruit folks for MLMs, then just say it. Don't advertise an MLM or a pyramid scheme as a legit job posting. MLMs and pyramid schemes should be posted as business opportunities, and not as job postings in employment sections.

Deon,

This company has a C- minus rating due to complaints for misleading job offers, and the poor reviews are piling up here on TrustLink. Links to both are above your post.

Too many consumers who respond to these ads think they are contacting a bona fide employment offer to fill a specific job. Instead, they reach a business that creates the impression that after paying fees for training or buying necessary equipment, that high paying jobs are available. Sometimes the fees are imposed without consumer approval, or the consumer is led to believe that most or all of the fees ultimately will be conditionally refunded, which turns out to be false. Keep in mind, companies who are really hiring employees do not usually charge their employees for the privilege of working for them.
