How do you know if a company you hire to do work on your property sends a subcontractor? Do they have to disclose it to you before the work is done?

Gloria,

If they are going to use a subcontractor, they should disclose it to you. The subcontractor should also be able to provide you with their license, insurance and bond information. Also you should be aware that there should be a separate contract for installation.
