Tired of phones — what to do with guests?
|

Hi everyone! I need some advice. I often get together with friends at home — pizza, tea, and everyone is on their phone. Sometimes we don’t even really talk. I want to change something. I thought: maybe we should play something together to distract ourselves from screens? But I want something simple, accessible and fun. I found a deck of cards, remembered how we played “fool” as children, but maybe there is something more interesting? There are usually 3 to 5 of us. I don’t want to bother with a long explanation of the rules. What would you recommend?

We are also tired of phones and one day decided to get out a deck of cards. At first we played simple games, and then we found

and everything changed! For example, Canasta is a great option for a group. The rules are simple, but there are a lot of emotions: someone catches combinations, someone "spoils" other people's plans. And the game Spades was also great - you need to guess how many points you will take, and act with your partner. So much laughter and discussions! As a result, the whole evening without phones, and no one even noticed. Try it - these are not just games, they are a real reason to chat.

Oh, Canasta - my favorite game! My friends and I play every Friday. Once we get into it, we even put our phones on another table. It brings us really close!
