Yes, I have been using Shifton for several months now, and I can say that it is a really useful tool for shift planning, especially if you need not only automatic distribution, but also flexibility. It combines both automatic functions and the ability to manually edit, which is great for situations like yours. At first, it was also important for me to understand how flexible this system is, because our schedule also often changes, someone gets sick, someone suddenly cannot go out, and the schedule itself changes depending on the season or workload. What I liked about schedule generator work is the ability to set up shift templates in advance, for example, for each week or month. When you have such a structure, the system itself assigns employees according to the template, taking into account their working hours, preferences, and so on. That is, for standard weeks, this process is automated, and you do not need to waste time on each day. But at the same time, as I understand it, the strongest side of Shifton is the ability to quickly edit the schedule if something suddenly goes wrong. For example, an employee is sick or cannot work the assigned shift, and you can reschedule it for another time in a couple of clicks. Moreover, you can do this in real time, and the system will notify all employees about the changes, which is also convenient. However, it is worth understanding that with a large number of employees and changes, the system may sometimes offer less than ideal replacement options, and then you need to intervene manually to ensure that everything is correct. I highly recommend checking out their website for more details https://shifton.com/shift-scheduling

I've only been using Shifton for a couple of weeks, but overall I'm pretty happy. It's intuitive that if your schedule changes often, this app will save you a ton of time. However, as the user above said, there are times when you still need to do a little manual intervention, especially if the schedule is too non-standard. But all of these features are still much more convenient than setting shifts manually, and errors are much less likely.
