help understanding renewal clauses on contracts

i have a 60 month contract with domestic uniforms. it will expire on january 06, 2011.
the contract has a renewal clause for another 60 months. it also states that if you want to cancel the renewal clause you have to send a letter via cetrified mail 6 months prior. i sent it 4 months prior.the will not except it.
will the new 60 months take effect after january 06, 2011.

Domestic Uniform Rentals has a D rating with the BBB for failing to respond to complaints. The complainants allegations are mostly about poor customer service and failing to allow them to cancel contracts. They also have some negative reviews posted at Trustlink.

I urge you to view the entire report and to read the complaints at their BBB report. If you have been unable to resolve your dispute directly with the company, you may file your complaint at their BBB report. I have linked their report above your question above.
