I got a call from the same place on 11/18 and the man keeps trying to get me to send him my credit card information in order to start the process and order the "deed clearing packet" I have no idea how these types of transactions are done. The timeshare was given to me in the first place. Does any of this make any sense? My gut says "no" but I am a sceptic so I'd like another opinion.

JLS from Kansas

I received a similar call the past few days from Angie from First Class Timeshare. They claim to have a buyer couple interested in our timeshare for nearly our entire asking price ($13,000) but want a $1450 fee for deed clearing packet. They also claim they can help get back listing fees from other timeshare entities we've listed our property with in the past. They indicated they would e-mail me documentation that would outline the transactions and the protection policies they claim would be part of the transaction upon agreement to proceed. They stated the buyer would have an up front non-refundable fee and after that they would process the financial loan paperwork to see if they are approved for the loan. But not sure when during process the deed clearing fee is paid. They are stating they are a loan officer, not a real estate broker.

They would not give out their Federal Tax ID but say to check the www.funbiz.org website and I try to go there and it will not display for me. I cannot find First Class Timeshare on the BBB website for Central Florida. I submitted an inquiry for them to research this company and I am hopeful they will follow up with an e-mail. I also checked Florida Secretary of State Website Public Records and cannot find them listed so I do not believe they are an LLC as of yet.

Please continue to post what additional information you find out and I will do the same.

I HAD DEALINGS WITH THIS COMPANY. IF YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT FIRST CLASS TIMESHARES OF ORLANDO, FLORIDA. I LOOKED THEM UP BEFORE I SENT THE MONEY. WE HAD A TIMESHARE UNIT IN DAYTONA, FLORIDA. THAT VWAS ABOUT 75 DAYS AGO. WE RECIEVED A CHECK FOR $18,000 YESTERDAY! WE ARE SHOPPING ON BLACK FRIDAY AFTER ALL.

I almost took the bait. But they want to record you paying them? Why is that? Because of all of the unhappy customers perhaps? They collect money up front? Loan agents don't do that. They don't get paid until the deal closes.
I spoke to James at FIRST CLASS TIMESHARES OF ORLANDO FLORIDA and offered to put the money in an escrow account. (that is how ALL real estate usually sells) and when the deal closes they would get their fees....haven't heard back yet.
Don't do it. I have been scammed 2 x by timeshare callers. They each have their own story but I lost 1500.00. I have 2 kids to feed and this hurt.
trust your gut. If it sounds too good to be true it ususally is. :)

So what is the solution to getting rid of Wyndham Timeshares that I'm not able to use anymore? I've already believed and paid numerous companies and have zero results. Anyone want more deeds to Old Town, Alex. Va, Williamsburg, Va, or Daytona Beach, Fl? I am pretty desparate.

Lorie, the most reliable way to get rid of your timeshare is to do it through a reputable timeshare transfer company. These companies do not sell or rent timeshares, so don't expect to make a profit if you already having trouble getting rid of it as is. However, they do transfer your timeshare out of your name thereby relieving you of all future obligations. It's important to take into considerations the pros and cons of using a timeshare transfer company based on your personal objectives. If you're objective is to sell your timeshare and get as much as you can for it, then you will continue paying your timeshare maintenance fees until you find a buyer. If you're objective is to just relieve yourself of the burden, then any timeshare transfer company should be able to help you.

Cecile,

I attached their BBB report above for you to view their excellent rating. This company offers timeshare transfer services which transfer your timeshare out of your name thereby relieving you of all future obligations.

Check out their report and reviews!
