So I’ve been thinking about switching from in-person meetups to something online for the parenting group I help run. Everyone’s got different schedules, and it’s getting harder to get people in the same place at the same time. A friend suggested webinars, but I’m not sure how flexible they really are. Do they actually make things easier, or is it just more tech to worry about?

I used to feel the same way when I started doing training sessions for my remote team. Turns out, webinars saved me a ton of time. I could prep once, reuse the material, and still keep things interactive with Q&A or chat. The best part is that people can join from literally anywhere. If you’re just starting out, this guide helped me understand the basics: https://myownconference.com/what-is-a-webinar/ . Worth checking out for sure.

I’ve noticed more community events moving online lately, especially the ones tied to local nonprofits or education. It’s cool seeing how people adapt and still stay connected, even without a physical space. Some sessions feel even more engaging than face-to-face stuff — probably because folks are more relaxed when they’re tuning in from home.
