Has anyone had trouble withe the Meade LXD75 AR-6 Telescope and mount?

Has anyone else had difficulty with the Meade LXD75 AR-6?
This telescope and mount self destructs while traversing. Meade has ignored my complaints for several years while the unit sat unused as a piece of furniture in my living room and now wishes to charge $325.00 in order to repair or modify it. Oh yes They have now discontinued this $1200.00 product and, in effect, says: "Sorry about that!"

We're sorry to hear about your experience. At a miniumum, why don't you file a complaint with the BBB or post a review here on TrustLink? Not sure what you mean by "self destructs while traversing". Can you enlighten us? Thanks.
