Does R A Law owe me a refund?
I am struggling to make my house payments, I had some other sources of income that went sour. I applied for a loan modification and was turned down, R A Law called me and said they could get me a modification or I would get my money back. They talked me into skipping another payment so I could pay them $3,000.
They said I would get at least $500 a month saving and would easily get the money back in savings this part was not in writing it only stated I would get the money back if there was no loan modification. Well after ten months and and having to submit the same paper work every two to four weeks they got me a loan modification. It was for $147 per month for six months that's $882
savings not a very good trade for $3,000. the mortgage company said I would have to reapply in four months to try and extend it longer and R A LAW sent me a letter stating there obligation to me was finished. I feel I am owed at least $2,500 refund.

Kent,
If you cannot resolve your dispute directly with the company, you may file your complaint with the BBB at their BBB report.
