Review 10/19/2011
Less than a year ago I was harassed by a GS, and was told by other GSes different things in regards to reporting it. While asking a question about it, I was banned for GS harassment, harassment of other players, and a bunch of other things before I could submit my ticket. I did not know I was banned. AGE waited three days to send me a ban notice. In the mean time I had another account that I used to post with. For a period of about three days, the GS I wanted to report continued to harass me, other GSes began sending me messages over the forums and in game, most of which were not very helpful. I was told by GMs that they would not take action against the player regardless of how many times he harassed my. Soon after my tickets were no longer taken seriously, my character was defamed by other customers (including GSes). I stopped reporting. I stopped posting as frequently. I was permanently banned while on a work related trip out of country. I didn't check my email until about 5 days later. The only reason i stuck around even after that is because I hoped for an apology of some kind from the GMs. It never happened. Early in summer, I received a ban for "harassment". I submitted a ticket asking what I was banned for. While waiting the 3 days for a response back another player sent me an email showing me screenshots taken from a GS only forum section of AGE. It showed me a post a forum GS had made claiming that my attitude was "negative." (Being negative is not the same thing as harassment please do keep that in mind.) The image also showed all the GSes that were responding. I then subsequently sent the image to a GS i trusted who showed it to a GM. I was permanently banned for "GS information leak and harassment." Needless to say this is a very clear violation of the company's privacy policy since the status of anyone's account is between the account creator and AGE not, the account creator, the GS team and the AGE company. I recently had to contact law enforcement personnel because about 2 months after all of this started, I began receiving emails from support.aeriagames@google.com and similar named senders. I blocked them and they kept making more accounts so eventually i added a filter for my email to try to keep the spammage down. This person has been sending me "GS confidential information", links to posts I've made at AGE, locations of where I used to live down to the zip code, contact information for a previous employer, has threatened me bodily harm, has threatened people I've met through AGE regulated mediums bodily harm, and a host of other things. I believe they've amassed this information based on vague information I may have said about myself on the AGE forums and games. I guess you could say all of this happened over a course 7 months. In June of this year I got tired. About 4 days ago I had to seek help with law enforcement because of the threatening emails that reached a 'peak' if you will. Since I know first hand that AGE is and has violated their terms of service and privacy policy, I would not be shocked if the person if caught were to be an AGE employee or a member of the GS team. In either case, I imagine then I would definitely file a law suit. And clearly I don't like the business after what I've endured.
