This is a great shop: they do service, repair and sales. They are experts and can repair almost any sewing machine or vacuum.
They sell elna, Husquavarna/Viking, Babylock, Miele. It is such an rare place that really knows what they are doing that it is a breath of fresh air. I will take my machines to them in the future, recommend without reservation, and plan on my next purchase of a machine to be there.
I brought in my Brother sewing machine; I was having trouble with the ruffler attachment. The ruffler would unscrew the needle holder on the shaft WHILE sewing, causing the ruffler to fall off, ,fabric to get sucked into a horrible semi-shreded wad half inside the plate, and needle to break and fly towards my eyes.
I thought that the needle holder might be slightly miss-aligned or the machines timing was off; not so - it was an expensive but cheeply made ruffler that was the problem.
$25 and a new ruffler solved all my worries, and I am back sewing crinolines.
(I'll be returning the more expensive ruffler to it's cheap corporate source.)
It is HUGE to find someone that knows sergers, computerized machines, vintage machines and vacuums AND is personable, fair and trustworthy.
