Review 12/4/2009
All Coast Transporters were late to pick up my furniture (over a day). They insisted someone be at the other end to get driver paperwork that was mailed so I ended up making a 15 hour drive straight through. BTW no paperwork. They had my husband sign a binding agreement knowing it was going to cost us $400 more. This was not explained - actually Alex the driver said it would be less expensive - not true. They and their booker America Van Lines were very deceptive in the price. They neglected to clearly state that the amount I paid American Van Lines for the privilege (and I use the word loosely) of their service would not be applied to the bill I was given at the end.
I have not received my furniture, they are not responding to emails. To say I am unhappy is a gross understatement.

Business's response - by All Coaston 1/7/2010
We agreed to service Mrs. Mack’s move from Ferris, TX to Colorado Springs, TX. Mrs. Mack booked with American Van Lines (agent) to contract her move from TX to CO. Mrs. Mack was booked at 10,486 lbs at an estimated price of $4290.07. Mrs. Mack then paid her deposit of $ 2016.14 to American Van Lines, leaving her estimated balance due at $2273.93. Please note that All Coast Transporters does not receive the deposit of $2016.14. Deposit paid goes fully to American Van Lines. All Coast Transporters was contracted by American Van Lines to pickup 10,486 lbs at an estimated price of $ 2273.93. On December 1, 2009, Mrs. Mack’s items were picked up from Ferris, TX. At the pickup our driver did a walkthrough of the house, and informed Mr. Mack that it looked like they may have about 12,000 lbs, instead of the estimated 10,786lbs. Our driver then explained, that they had an option to sign for a Binding Estimate which would leave there total balance due at a flat rate of $2600.00 to be paid in full at the delivery. This ensured that if even if the actual weight of the shipment was over the 12,000 lb, no overage would be charged, and balance would stay at the flat rate of $2600.00. Mr. Mack agreed and signed the paperwork for the $ 2600.00 flat rate to be paid at delivery. After the paperwork was already signed, Mrs. Mack contacted our office and demanded that she will not pay for the flat rate. She stated that she will only pay for the actual weigh of her shipment. Per Mrs. Mack’s request, All Coast Transporters then agreed to only charge for the actual weight of her shipment. Our office then advised Mrs. Mack that the total weigh of her shipment came in at 11,900 lbs. This is 1414 lbs over the estimate. This additional weight comes out to $ 495.58 more, bringing the balance due to $ 2769.51. Our office then contacted Mrs. Mack to advise of her actual weight and actual price, as requested. Furious, Mrs. Mack then stated that she did not want to pay
