After graduating in 2010 from LVN school, after several attempts, I was not successful in passing my NCLEX for LVN. I have tried many review course books, self studying, online and flashcards, however these tools did not suffice. Finally, my wife found a review class around our neighborhood in January 2014, and I enrolled immediately. Soon after, I realized Sir Don's teaching style was different from any teachers I have experienced. I learned techniques quickly and clearly in a matter of days through his informative sessions. I was able to see my strengths and weaknesses and what I needed to do in order to pass. While in his class, I also developed a nursing team whose ultimate goal is to pass, and together, we formed strong lifetime friendships. After endless nights of studying and using Sir Don's book, "BIBLE", flash drive and extra notes I purchased at AHEC, they became the 'meat' of the NCLEX. Thus, on April 2015, I finally took my NCLEX and PASSED! This would not be possible if not the help of AHEC, this is truly an excellent review class for those who need refresher course. I encourage every nurse-to-be to take this class! It is worth the journey!
