I was a student at American Healthways Education and I’m happy to share to you my experience with the course. Let me tell you it is great. I mean, although ultimately, it really was up to me in the end to be completely ready to take the exam, but after taking 7 days refresher course I signed up for the unlimited program because that is how much I believed in this great program. And I’m glad to say I was right, I finally passed my NCLEX-RN board exam.
You see, Sir Don and Maria De Leon created a program built upon helping students reach their goals by giving them all the tools they need to tackle the exam. In this program, was a binder filled with so many materials that were easy to learn. On top of that they made you bullet points that are vitally important to memorize. These are the things that really helped me to put all of the pieces of nursing knowledge and tie some loose ends together that I’ve forgotten since during my LPN education.
And if that wasn’t enough they also had tutoring and coaching; which Sir Don helped students answer practice exam questions and have an open discussion about the rationale to the questions. Lucky for us, Sir Don is very approachable and is able to answer questions that his students had for him. He was very knowledgeable about nursing that it helped understand what I didn’t know before.
Ultimately I believe this is a great review center for all kinds of students who either want a complete summary guide of all the things needed to learn for the RN or LPN board exam or someone who just want to polish up their nursing knowledge.
