This company is a complete scam. Read about it at MovingScam.com under one of their other names, Best Movers California or America's Best Movers. They change names frequently. In fact, I have received quotes from a dozen "different companies" who were apparently competing for my business but were in fact the same company trying to low ball me and then upcharge once my stuff was on the truck. I accidentally clicked on a paid link on google to 123movers.com which claims to be a search site which passes on your move request to different companies who supposedly compete for your business. Something seemed fishy when most of the people who called me had Middle Eastern accents and only gave their first names which were typical American names rather than Middle Eastern, such as David, Sara, or Tom. They never gave a last name.
The many names this outfit operates under include America's Best Movers, Best Movers California, ABM Van Lines, Trusted Van Lines, Ori Van Lines, and American Relocation. You can tell they are a scam by looking at yelp and other reviews where they only get 5 stars. Look at the filtered reviews. For some reason, all the one-star reviews get filtered (IN fact, there are only 1 and 5 star reviews.) The five-star reviews give overwhelming praise without a single complaint in a tone and language not typical of Yelp users. As you dig deeper, you find that the 5-star reviewers have only reviewed one other business (a coffee shop for instance) and give no meaningful criticism of the other business.
Look on BBB's website at the list of companies using BBB's logo against their wishes and you'll find Best Movers California which is the same as America's Best Movers which is the same as Americare Relocation. Read the 1-star reviews all over the web and you'll see what they actually do: give you a low-ball estimate, load the stuff on the truck, triple the price and demand cash instantly or hold your goods ransom. Many, many people had valuables "lost" or destroyed and their delivery delayed by up to a month. I caught on and canceled my credit card before they could charge their "deposit". I'm writing this review because I see how many good people have been scammed and feel so sad for them and so angry that this company keeps changing names and keeps getting away with it. Please don't go with them and please spread the word.
