Not on time delivery and sketchy security
I recently purchased a Sapphire necklace on Tuesday, 06May14. I submitted the special offer code for express delivery by Mother's Day. Wednesday,07May14 I received a random security check email(see below) and properly supplied Angara with the requested
information. Thursday, I called and spoke with Mary in regards as to why I haven't received a shipping confirmation? Mary stated she needed to check my shipping address so I sent in a picture of that. Friday, I called and spoke with Barbara, she said it would
have to be mailed by USPS on Monday because FedEx doesn't deliver to my apartment box on the military base. I called back on Monday, 12May14 and spoke with Mary as to why it still hadn't been mailed and informed her I'm leaving for Chicago Friday. She said
it will be mailed Tuesday and should arrive in San Diego by the time I leave. Today is Friday, 16May14 I'm leaving for Chicago and it still hasn't arrived. I going to Chicago to spend a week with my fiancé and would have liked to have surprised her with the
necklace. Email I received on the 7th and had the requested information submitted back the same day. Dear Calvin, Thank you for your order at Angara.com. We randomly security check every 50th order. Yours is one of those. We can quickly clear your order from
our Security Department. They are requesting that you email a color copy of your government photo ID with your address and a color copy of the credit card used for your order. You may cover up the beginning groups of numbers. The Security Department will only
want to see your name, the name of the bank, the type of credit card and the last four numbers on the card and that it has not expired. I am sorry for any inconvenience. I look forward to assisting you with your order. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Hello Calvin, The Angara goal is to put smiles on our customers faces. We did send your order out in time for you to have it prior to departure. However, due to the extensive California fires which were covered extensively in the news, the freeways were closed and many areas evacuated in your area and shipping destination. We had no control over a natural disaster which is still a problem in the state of California. Our Security Department randomly checks orders which have consistently proven to protect the customer and Angara. We ship fine jewelry all over the world and have one of the lowest rates of order- fraud, internationally. We are sorry if it made you feel uncomfortable. That was certainly not our intention. We hope that you were not hurt by the fires and that you were able to safely fly out of the area. We apologize for the inconvenience and disappointment. Most Sincerely, Angara Customer Service
