Not as expected

I purchased a white gold halo 1kt ruby and diamond ring at the Heirloom AAAA quality. As soon as I saw the ring I knew I wasn't going to keep it. The color was much too pink and no hint of red as pictured. The feel and weight of the band was light and
not substantial. I took it down to my local town jeweler in business for 48 years and after appraising the ring he asked me if it was a used one. The quality of the band is inferior to what he normally sells, he inspected the stone and told me there were 2
cuts made, one on the girdle and the other on the stone itself, although not visible to the naked eye. I am very happy that Angara's 110% refund policy is in place and that they cover the fedex shipping. I am sorry that this was not a keeper as the pricing
was great as was customer service as I had been offered to exchange the stone for another.
