My Parents recently filled an insurance claim for storm damage to our house everything was approved they received a check and everything was going right we were finally going to get our new roof. Only thing was that the insurance check was under both my
fathers name and Carrington Mortgage company, he called carrington to get the check endorsed. They came up with this whole story telling him that they were not going to do it because he has not made any payments on the house (which by the way is BS come on
they would had already kicked us out of the house Really) because our bank Chase btw Great bank is in charge of sending the monthly payment. My Father mentioned this to them then they told him well we still cannot endorse the check because you owe interest
and are behind all this crazy stories again all BS Finally the truth came out and they said we want you to send us the check signed we will cash it and pay our roofing company basically all they wanted was the check cash it pay minimum for our roof and keep
the rest of the insurance money. So i called the insurace and told them the story that carrington told us they said DO NOT send the check because is a scam. I think we will soon be refinacing the house because I really dont want to deal with this company anymore
im Going with Chase or any other will be better than Carrington.
