Non-existent consumer support!

I purchased a universal dashboard smart phone support on 9/15/17, and received it last week. On September 22 at 9:05 AM PDT I filled out a form with the following message: The side support end just broke off when I was attaching the connecting side support piece. Th piece on the body to hold it was broken and could not hold the end bracket. I hadn't even finished unwrapping all the parts yet. I want a refund and I shouldn't have to pay return shipping for a cheap plastic item. It is weighty. ORDER # 203105234.
They don't answer calls, just take digital complaints. I got an immediate response saying they were reviewing my complaint, but time is wasting and if I get any satisfaction, it would only be a store credit because of a 30 day return policy, WHICH I WILL NEVER EVER USE. I have bought items for years online and have never had such negative experience. Disgusting and shameful!
