Do not allow this business to take your money! Both myself and a friend each paid for Persuad's service in Jan-Feb 2010, and we were both SCAMMED! Not only did Persuad not complete his service, his staff never even submitted our paperwork to our banks for the modification. 6 months later I wrote a review like this and got Persuad's attention. Of coarse he apologized, blamed everyone else but himself, but eventually agreed to a "partial" refund of my money in 60 days in exchange that I take the review down since he did not want other people to see it. Since I really needed the money, I took the review down-waited more than 60 days, still have not received anything nor any response from Persuad. I have since obtained my own loan modification by myself and found it did not take anymore work than what I paid this scam artist $1800 to do. Now, two more months later, I still have not received any refund. I have submitted numerous requests to Persuad including a question for this refund through BBC, but of coarse, Legal Modification Firm did not even reply. Since Legal Modification Firm is not accredited through BBC, my recommendation is to file a written complaint with the California Bar Association at http://www.calbar.ca.gov/Attorneys/LawyerRegulation.aspx. Peruad's Bar Number is 262620.
All I want is my money back for the services that were never rendered. I keep hoping Persuad will do the right thing and refund my money, but I'm not holding my breath. Good luck to the rest of the victims out there.

We do this customer the refund money, and we apologize to her for not having returned it sooner. We have not returned the money because we did not have it. We are trying to get the money.
