We certainly welcome all reviews and the opportunity to address them. We are a little taken back by some of your comments compared to the contact history of your account. You enrolled into our debt management program on November 16, 2009, with payments to begin on December 5th. The next communication we received from you was an email on November 17th, where you provided a new cell phone number. The first and only phone call we received from you was on Wednesday, December 16, 2009. At that time you had advised us you had sent us emails on November 27th, December 1st, and December 3rd. Prior to your call on December 16th, we had only received the November 17th email where you provided your new cell phone number. You forwarded the previously sent emails to our customer service department on December 16. We advised on the December 16th call there was an issue with the customer service email account the week of November 28th. The email issue was resolved; however, there were some emails we did not receive. As you can imagine there is no way to know an email is missing, if we had no idea it was sent. When you called on December 16th, and you forwarded your emails, we promptly closed your account and refunded 100% of your deposit.
We were really taken back that you posted such a libelous review the day before you called us for the FIRST and ONLY time to have the opportunity to correct the error. You had also mentioned you were redirected to call another number to inquire about issues with your account. Delray Credit Counseling has numerous systems in place to service our clients as well a provide layers of security between different departments. The credit counselors specifically focus on counseling sessions and are not involved with the servicing of an account enrolled in the debt management program.
