****BEWARE don't be fooled by what a tow truck driver tells you****
I had a very negative experience with this body shop. My vehicle was in a collision and the tow truck driver suggested to have it towed to Golden Touch auto body, where the owner has a $100,000 laser guided machine that can straighten out a vehicles crumpled steel parts perfectly. He used the sales pitch that all the other local auto body shops go to this shop to use that machine; unfortunately I went with it.
This is the part for those of us that are in this situation say "I should have known better."
Once they have your car and your claim number (i.e. a huge payment from your insurance company) they could care less about your satisfaction. ALL phone calls went UNANSWERED and that is disappointing because I went against my insurance companies recommended auto body shop for this accident. Auto body shops like Golden Touch Auto Body should be at the same level if not above and beyond the insurance companies shops quality of service and customer service.
When I finally got my car back it was vibrating on the freeway. I called the owner Fred and again no answer (he has his money). Luckily I was able to take my car to this tire shop I still had a warranty with, and they said all I needed was a tire balance.
Golden Touch Auto said they did an alignment. The insurance appraiser indicated that they paid for that and a tire balance.
BOTTOM LINE: Based on their LACK of customer service and unsatisfactory experience I would never never never go back to Golden Touch Auto Body ever again. If you have a collision in the North Hollywood area go with your insurance companies recommendation or a friend that can make a good suggestion.
