Cosmetic Surgery

I visited hospital de la familia for a cosmetic surgery. I was pleased with my nurses and the attention they gave me. The number one thing that surprised me was one of the nurses/helpers inside the surgical room. I had already taken a sleepy pill and I
told a female nurse that I wanted to speak to the surgeon and change my mind about the size of the implants. I told her I was second guessing it and wanted to stay on the small side. She told me not to worry that even though I was drowsy she will help me have
that discussion with the doctor. She did, she reminded me and stood behind me. The doctor and one of his male assistant had the bigger is better mentality. She was very proper and without insulting the doctor, she politely reminded him that everyone in that
room was there to help me (the patient) so what I wanted is what I will receive. It was awesome knowing I was not alone in that room. She made me feel comfortable and safe. Afterwards, I was very lucky and did not have any nausea or side effects from the anesthesia.
I was in and out from checking it to being back in my room resting after surgery in 70 minutes. The food at the hospital was the best soup I ever ate. I had many many caldo de pollo in my life, but the one that was served to me at the hospital was awesome.
The reason why I chose this hospital for my surgery was because multiple family and friends have procedures even births there and had wonderful stories to share. Even the security guy at the gate is courteous and kind. I enjoyed my elective surgery stay so
much that a few months after I took my little boy for an emergency cut he had. In less than 5 min he was already receiving attention from two doctors and one nurse. One of the doctors appeased my heart and reminded me that everything was going to be fine.
He explained the options to cure his cut and how the scar would be. He used a special glue for the smaller scar. I was in and out in less than two hours. I came home with a healthy boy. I was a mom in panic-mode, but the staff helped me calm down so I could
comfort by baby. I will continue to use this hospital.
