We have been with ServerPronto for 5 years now, and find it excellent value for money, if you fully can manage your own servers.
We use other hosting companies. The cost is _very_ different, up to ten times the SP price.
We started with SP back then just to test the service for non-critical use. Now we have 3 production servers there.
Problems of technical nature are very rare (can't remember anything for the last year), connection to server better than average on the web. Helpful staff when you have issues you need to involve them in. Answers usually within some hours. Reboots about 30 minutes or less. OK.
But if you are _not_ experienced in operating your O/S, well, _any_ server provider will be to expensive. Don't expect them to figure out why your installation does not work. Even for a professional who did the installation it can take hours. For somebody who didn't, well - forget it!
SP offers connection via KVM for around 20 USD/24 hours - so you can fix your issues yourself, even if you want to upgrade/change the O/S.
The only issue I have had this year was a server which had a weakness, allowing it to be used for spam. It was closed down, and it took 12 hours to get it back because the decision maker in such cases had gone home for the night. That was painful, and maybe they should change the procedures.
All in all: for us SP has been excellent value for money, allowing us to put thousands of dollars extra to our bottom line. I have given 5 stars on that background.
PS: We have never tried to cancel with them, so I can't tell about the experiences some report with a credit card. But we have tried to make a double order by mistake, and the wrong extra order was cancelled on request and never billed.
