I am writing this review of Loan Officer Brian Brown.
I used Brian when my wife and I purchased our home in northern CA. He is easily one of the most knowledgeable and skilled loan officers I have ever dealt with. The biggest thing that sticks out is that he is ALWAYS available. I have dealt with loan officers in the past that "just stepped out" or don't return your calls and nothing is more annoying when you have a question or want to know the progress of your loan. I have found that Brian is easy to get ahold of and returns my calls faster than expected.
I also know that Brian was able to get me THE BEST rate available. I compared his rates to several other banks and two credit unions and he beat them hands down. I have referred seven of my friends and two of my bosses to him and he has consistently performed as promised. As you know, you would never take a chance referring your boss to someone that you didn't have full confidence in.
One of my friends I referred to him was hesitant to call because he wasn't ready to get a loan just yet. I told him to call anyways and ask Brian questions about what he needed to do in preparation of getting a loan. Brian talked to him for almost 30 minutes, knowing he wasn't going to be doing a loan for him, but just to give him the information he needed. Impressive.
In all fairness, he does seem to ask for more documentation than other loan officers have in the past, but I believe that is because he wants to make sure he has all his "ducks in a row" and can put out any potential fires before they begin. I'll gladly spend an extra 30 minutes gathering docs he needs to save THOUSANDS or TENS OF THOUSANDS of dollars over the life of my loan.
If I can add one more reason on why you should use this specific loan officer - NO SURPISE CHARGES at doc signing.
He's also completed my refi about 6 months ago. Again, wonderful experience. Give him a call, you won't be disappointed.
