Just had to write a quick note about Janian and Associates. Back in November of 2009 I contacted Janian about a loan modification after my shady mortgage company increased my mortgage payment to 4100 dollars per month but would not tell me how long or why even after I gave them 4000. for a supposed missed tax payment. I spoke to a nice man Allen Simon who listened to my story and got back to me in days explaining they could help me and what they would do is not even talk to my mortgage company but go right to the mortgage company lawyers. I gave them a deposit of 3500.00 and hoped for the best. As the months went by I would resubmit bank statements paycheck stubs etc to Janian for my mortgage company, sometimes they would send me e-mails saying they were still working on my case. I had fallen behind on my
mortgage payments when I could not keep up due to loss of husbands job and
a loss of my overtime so I only hoped all would work out. It had gotten to
be over a year I knew they were working on my case still because I was not
put into forclosure or anything like that. A new man just as nice as the last
one a Richard Martinez contacted me for some more information and secretary would send out e-mails of things that they would need from time to time.
Well just a couple of months ago Mr. Martinez called to say the mortgage company was putting me into a trial modification my new payment is 2093.00 and that includes the taxes and the house insurance !! It is such a relief that this has gone through I was a little worried after reading some of the bad reviews on the BBB website. But they sure helped me out and I am so grateful I was always treated well and kept informed as soon as they had contact with my lender. I would not hesitate to refer them to anyone.
