Unreliable, Misleading, Poorly Trained "Business Specialist"
I was told by Legal Zoom that I had to refile my DBA if I wanted to add another registered owner in my company that I am starting. I was being helped by a so-called "Business Specialist", and I exactly told him I wanted the same exact package that I previously
ordered, after that being said, I included the details of registering for a 'Partnership' for a DBA, and filing for a 'EIN' with the new registered owner that I added, and a 'Seller's Permit' for my company. So we went through the questionnaire and this poorly
trained agent was seriously stoned out of his mind. Everything that I've just told him went in one ear, and out the other. The entire process was time consuming, and very repetitive. After the entire questionnaire, I double-checked to see if he gave me the
correct shipping package, as I am re-filing and needed these documents ASAP. This agent had the nerve to tell me that I never told him to upgrade my shipping package, when he clearly assured me 5 minutes before that the shipping package was 'Express Delivery'.
He also had the nerve to blame and charge me for the shipping upgrade, I called him out on it, he spoke to his supervisor, and came back with free express shipping with no additional charge. Finally, this idiot did something right.. Until, I receive my order
and my EIN is missing from the package. I called customer service, spoke to one of the poorly trained representative. I didn't tell him about my first DBA order, and asked him about my current order, and what kind of paper works should be included. I specifically
asked him if my order should've included a form for me to fill out for my EIN Application. And he told me that it wasn't necessary if I was only working with a DBA. ???. Then I brought up my previous order and asked him why it included the SS-4 Application,
and why it's not included in my current order? He started running his mouth with all these excuses, telling me that I should call the IRS myself and figure it out. Wow, after the amount of money I've spent for these people to supposedly help me with my legal
process, all I get are excuses instead of an answer to why paper work is missing? RIDICULOUS! I hung up on this idiot "Business Specialist", called back to see what kind of lame excuse I am going to hear next. I spoke to another "Business Specialist", and
then she told me, that I didn't include to file an EIN, and said I needed to pay them another ridiculous amount of money, for them to take care of it. FROM THE BEGINNING, when this stoned "Business Specialist" was taking my order, all he was doing was saying
YES to all my questions about getting my package right, probably just to get another sale out of me, without doing the job thoroughly and correctly. And now, I am being told that I need to pay again to refile my EIN with the IRS so that my business partner
is included. I am trying to get my business on the right track, specially when it involves the IRS, but LEGAL ZOOM seems to be incapable of helping me out. The entire time I was checking in for my order whenever I received these bogus emails in regards of
my order being ready, these "Business Specialist" could've told me that I was missing my SS-4 Application. In fact, I called about this before I received my package, trying to make changes on my SS-4 Application, and I wasn't even told that this wasn't included
in my order. I was told that changes I made on my phantom SS-4 application will be taken care of and I will be contacted if they have any questions. What a bunch of liars, misleading, incompetent agents that work for this company. All they want is to sell
you misleading products, full of hidden charges in the end. Their "Satisfaction Guarantee", IS A LIE! When you call them out on their mistakes, they will make you pull out your credit card and make you pay. Instead of correcting their mistakes, they will make
you feel stupid and lead you on to thinking that you're the one who made the mistake. Terrible customer service, don't trust these people handling your legal matters. You're better off filing these papers yourself, and paying half the cost of what you're paying
these idiots. NEVER AGAIN LEGAL ZOOM! Thanks Legal Zoom for making this process 100 times harder, and for not sticking to your SATISFACTION GUARANTEE'S!
