Worst Experience and Company Ever

I began my loan process 5 months ago in October 2015. From the beginning I explained the reason I wanted the loan (a small loan on a fully paid second income property), was to help repair my credit. After jumping through hoops and doing everything they requested nothing worked. We were promised each week and month we only needed to get one more item. We were even made to purchase flood insurance for upwards of $3000.00. Forty minutes before we were to close yesterday, they called with another delay. Throughout the process we received empty promises. I believed their empty words and promises believing I would get the funds and my bills would be paid. I let bills lapse due to an error in my believing them. If they would not have given me 4 fictitious closing dates that would never have happened, My trying to help my credit just dug my hole deeper. We were working with L. Stewart who displayed nothing but incompetency. Not only were they incompetent but they showed no concern for the amount of stress and unnecessary burdens they placed upon us.We finally terminated the loan process yesterday only to receive an email today informing us we no longer qualified and we didn't need to reply. If there was no stars I would have chosen that.
If it was not bad enough, yesterday, 2/17/16 I received the loan papers depicting the amount of the loan etc., despite the fact the process was terminated last week. In addition, we were forced to take out flood insurance which we did immediately . Now we are still waiting for Loan Depot to send out the necessary paperwork so we can get back our money, nearly $3000.00. How can one company treat people so callously?
By the way, the post of a person Mr. Gonzalez reaching out to us was a lie. No one ever did.
