Loan Depot is not refunding my escrow and my overpayment on my mortgage
I refinanced with Loan Depot over 2 years ago. Everything went well until they increased my payment due to alleged escrow shortage. I paid it, but when they did it again next year, I refinanced. My loan was paid off in early January. To date I do not have my escrow funds, which is over 4500. My payments were on automatic in my bank and a payment was sent before I could stop it. It went to Loan Depot as it always has, electronically. loan Depot has not posted the money to my account even thought the funds were deducted from my checking. they claim they do not have the money, which I know is false. They will not talk to me and they are not refunding my payment. I truly believe they are purposely taking my money from me because I refinanced. I can not get anyone there to help me. I would recommend you not refinance with them as they will take your money and you will never see it again, as I have.
