I took my car in for a specific problem, I was charged $503 and still have the same problem. After complaining to the manager, he asked to keep my car for a couple of days to further diagnose it. He actually sent my car to another shop without prior approval from me and kept my car for over a week and was not able to determine the problem. I picked up my car and took it to AAMCO and they determined the problem in 1 hour. Midas refused to refund any money and was horrible at returning my calls. During the time they had my car I had to constantly call just to get any sort of information.
This shop may be good if you know exactly what is wrong with your car but if you are like me and need a professional to diagnose your vehicle don't waste money here, I would highly recommend taking it somewhere else. If given the choice I would have rejected the service for $503 if I knew it would leave my car in the same condition for which I was complaining. Midas claimed the part needed to be replaced anyway but it served no purpose to replace one part if the car was still going to be undriveable.
When I first advised the manager of my complaint I really believed he wanted to help resolve the issue he asked me to give him some time to figure out the problem and if he couldn't he would work with me on reimbursement. When it came down to it all he offered was his apologies. That's not good customer service. I would honestly give them no stars but this system defaults to at least 1.
