I wish I could give 0 stars, or even better, a negative. The drain for our washer was backing up, it happens often as this is an old house. In addition, the kitchen faucet was dripping. Called Mike Diamond & they gave me an estimate over the phone so I had them come out. They said it would be a George Brazil truck. No problem. The guy fixed the washer drain without giving me an estimate, then proceeds to take the faucet apart and tells me it would be over $600, which is more than 3 x what they told me on the phone. But, he says, he will do it if I pay him $345 cash. I paid him for the washer, which was a comparable price to what we normally pay. He put the faucet back together & left. Five minutes later I try to use the faucet & the hot water is coming out the cold side & cold is out the hot. I immediately called the office & they said he was too far away & on another job (in 5 minutes???) and that he "may" be able to get back in about 2 hours. I mentioned that as soon as I hung up with them I'd be calling the bank to stop payment on the check. Amazingly the guy was back within 10 minutes! On another job my foot. Stay far, far away from these people.
