I just would like to let everyone know in case you do not hear it clearly from one of the employees of this company, if you seek their assistance before your served for child custody, like I did, Make sure you have the full balance by the time you are served. I found out that my son's mother filed for custody and called National Family Solutions. They charged us $100.00 to hear our plee's take our notes. I told them I was waiting to be served and they informed me that I was to contact them as soon as I was served. They told me that the entire ordeal might reach up to $1200.00 and that I was able to make payments to them. What was not made clear was the payment option was not for the retainer. It was $850.00. The "payment option", was the $59.00 a month they charge you to keep the case open until there is a judgment.
When I was served they would not do anything furthur on my case until they had the balance paid in full. Please don't get me wrong, I'm sure the staff there are great people in fact I dont have a problem with Tom or Scott. They could have made the payment option more clear. That is my only concern. I did recieve a refund of the original $100.00. And they have since been very polite and professional. They informed me that I was welcome back any time if I needed any help in the future
