Unbelievable!
On May 23, 2017 I contacted NationStar Mortgage to inquire about refinancing my home. My call was answered immediately and after a few brief questions I was transferred to a mortgage professional by the name of Mr. Dwayne Brown. Rather than attempting to sell me something, Mr. Brown listened intently as I explained what my needs were and how I wished to go about attaining them. Mr. Brown put into motion that same day precisely what I had requested of him and within hours I had digital forms to read and sign in order to get the process started.
From this point the process got even better. Mr. Brown informed me after signatures were received that he would be handing me off to Ms. Sherydan Torres who would be handling the day to day processing and paperwork gathering through closing. Ms. Torres proved to be an all-star as she communicated frequently (almost daily) via phone and or email to make sure the underwriters had everything they needed in a timely fashion. Mind you I requested to use my veterans eligibility which I've been told typically takes substantially longer than conventional or FHA loan types.
Well Ms. Torres had an appraiser out to my house in 5 business days, had received the appraisal within 10 business days and had moved the entire file to underwriting for approval. Lo and behold I was signing final loan papers with the title company (notary dispatched to my home) by June 21, My loan funded on June 27, 2017, a grand total of 34 days since first contact.
Needless to say I am ecstatic with the precision and competency demonstrated by both Mr. Brown, Ms. Torres and the Nationstar customer experience. Should you be searching for a mortgage company I highly recommend Nationstar. I also recommend you ask specifically ask for Dwayne Brown & Sherydan Torres as they go above and beyond to exceed the customer's needs...
