Poor Customer Service
New American has been handling our loan for a few years. Everything was going ok until we signed up for auto draft payment and then, two (2) payments were taken out of our account which caused an overdraft plus fees to our checking account. After a call to the company, they stated that they could not reverse one of the payments, but that they would process a check and get it mailed out to us. I called back two weeks later and was told that they don't know what happen, they see the request for the check to be cut, but it had not been sent to accounting yet. They assured me that they would expedite the request and have the check overnighted to me my the end of the week. Today is 4 days later, (Friday) and I called back to see if the check had been mailed, and they say it has been cut, but is in the mailroom and SHOULD go out Monday. I wonder how this would go, if I was this slow in getting a check to them?????????
