I called Price Law Group based on an ad in the telephone yellow pages. Talked with Jacqueline Brooks who gave me a summary of what was involved in filing a chapter 7. She also gave me a total price for services and a payment plan all of which seemed very reasonable. I did not commit at that time as I wanted to check some other attorneys. The next day I received a summons which I had to answer in 5 calendar days. Since it was a Friday that gave me very little time to look around. I called J. Brooks on Friday and told her the situation. Got transferred to Allen Williams who had me fax him all the documents from the summons. By the end of Friday all the papers required to stop the summons were ready and could have been filed if I had finished the pre-bankruptcy course. Finished course on Saturday and by Monday my answer to the summons was filed which saved me from going to court. Based on his fast action I gave Allen Williams the nickname of Superman because he was faster than a speeding bullet. Everything after that went well and Nancy Clark gave me guidance at the trustee hearing which took 3 minutes and all my debts were erased. Also all the phone calls stopped after the filing. Chapter 7 is not a pleasant procedure but these people guided me in the best possible manner.
