I almost fell into the Regal Lion's Lair, until I closely read the fine print that claimed "all" IRA funds would subject to the custodian precious metal purchase WITHOUT BEING VERIFIED by owner-recipient of self-directed IRA. Upon demanding to speak with Senior agent, I discovered the product I sought to purchase for the IRA (1 gm bars) were only available as individual bars at a price of $57 per gram, rather than the multiples of 50 or 100 combi-bars offered by other companies at a price of $42-$44 per gram. This calculates to a $13-$15 per 1 gm bar undisclosed profit/fee or 30-34% over spot cost which I viewed as highly suspect, which led me to seriously question the credibility of the 5 star rating this company has managed to enjoy.
