New Head unit

I purchased a Clarion head unit from Sonic with all the recommended installation parts for a Honda CRV. Installer now says there was no adapter for the OEM input plug and he faced with cutting it off to rewire completely. Sonic sent an adapter for the antenna but none for the power/speaker input plug.
I will follow up with Sonic to see if there is a resolution.
